Manasarowar School is a primary school founded in 1997 by a group of Tibetan and Nepali women started only with only 15 children. Gradually school earned famed for its strict discipline and good care for children and for providing high standard education.
All the school teachers are female with currently schooling for some 220 students. All the major subjects are teaching in school including high standard of Tibetan language which is a major requirement for future high school for our children in NHSS.
The location of the school is in Ramity, (15 minutes walk from our current hostel) Boudha. Manasarowar is very organized school and academically well known school very popular among Tibetan diaspora in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Manasarowar School is well known for its care for children, providing quality education and for maintaining strict discipline also school is perfect for the Primary Level School for our children to get enroll in future NHSS.

Introduction to Namgyal Higher Secondary School:
High School: Class VI to XII
Medium: English, Tibetan & Nepali
Location: Gokarna, 10min walking distance from new hostel (Nayapati)
Namgyal Higher Secondary School is founded especially for Tibetan exile community children overseer of the school are a local NGO Snow Lion Foundation and SOS (Save our Soul, International) but now school started to enroll children from other community of Nepal’s Himalayan region.
Namgyal School is currently schooling for more than 400 students from both Nepali and from Tibetan community.
The experienced staff at NHSS is so special and the quality education there provide for its student which earn them a top 10 High Secondary School in whole Nepal. School is good for us because of its low fees, delivering good result, specialize in Tibetan, good facilities, close to our hostel and school friendly environment. This year we start with 2 boys new admission at Namgyal after they have completed primary studies at Mansarovar School.
And 58 children are studying at Young Hearts Boarding High school, Jorpati another well known school.
The year 1991 saw the birth of Young Heart Boarding High School along with the ideals of its founders to impart sound and effective education in the most positive manner possible.
Their aim is to mould and develop every child physically, mentally and spiritually through very modern methods. In order to fulfil the desired results we have very carefully selected qualified and experienced teachers who come from well-established English intermediate schools.
Y.H.B.H.S. is officially registered and has been and will be educating its pupils in accordance with the syllabus and text books recommended by His Majesty’s Government. A part from these we have also introduced certain extra texts which will help the children to acquire a broad understanding of education in general. As well as the needed subject encouragement and equal opportunity will be given to each and every child to participate in extra-curricular activities which include singing, arts and crafts, games etc. Facilities are provided in every field.
